Book of Alignment

d20 Rules/Character Supplement

There is more than what you believe...

The Book of Alignment is your guide to translating one-and-a-half pages of rough text like never before. Providing a theoretical viewpoint of alignments with alternate possibilities to incorporate and expand in your game, this book provides options and topics for discussion within your campaign. Whether these ideas are original or obvious, they are designed to invoke thought and concepts to give your characters greater depth and personality. Optional rules include true alignments, triple alignments, a non-alignment campaign and personality archetypes.

In addition, The Book of Alignment introducees a worldly concept in the alignment system and introduces alignments as a universal force. Imagine a creature of pure Evil, its very being striving for nothing more than the absolute destruction of all Life, yet never sated. These pages contain epic options for any campaign, taking your characters on the ultimate quest to discover the meaning of Life.

Key of the Fey, The

4e Mercenary Adventure (Heroic, Levels 1-3)

Not everyone needs a hero and not every quest saves the village. When darkness engulfs light, mercenaries heed the call and perform the deeds no one else has the stomach for. An introductory adventure for 4-6 1st-level characters of all alignments, The Key of the Fey sets out a new style of adventure for 4e: mercenary adventures. Hired by an orc “merchant” to steal a portal key from innocent cultists, nothing is what it seems.

Recommended for mature players, this adventure provides unique subplots and PC interaction never allowed in most adventures. Switch employers midway through or manipulate everyone to double the payday. Engage in honorable combat or stab 'em in the back. Receive minor quest rewards for keeping secrets or make a name for yourself and earn extra gold. Remember that it’s not about who wins or loses, it’s about getting paid.
Do you have what it takes?

Risen: The Guide To Resurrected Characters

4e Character Supplement (Paragon)

The battlefields of the multiverse yield more than fallen orcs, necromancers and demons: uncounted heroes have taken to their graves in the quest for adventure, a reminder of the consequences of bravery. Rather than slip into the Void of death, powers exist in your campaign to resurrect these individuals in grand, powerful forms, returning them to theri rightful place as heroes.

Risen: The Guide To Resurrected Characters presents seven paragon paths - known as resurrection paths - specificially designed to bring your character back from the dead with vigor and focus. Each path provides a means for your favorite character to wield his sword or implement once more through the powers of gods, arcane magic, or sheer willpower. Along with new features and powers, each path provides you with unique roleplaying opportunities to enhance and augment your character's presence at the table - rather than denying your demise, you can embrace it and incorporate it into your character's personality.

Each resurrection path includes roleplaying notes, sample character motivations and possible conclusions for your character at 30th level.
